The service
ShareY52 records household expenses, calculates balances and records settlements that members report. Share does not hold money, initiate payments, lend, collect debts or act as a bank. Members remain responsible for payments made outside the app.
Your account and records
You must be at least 18, provide accurate account details and keep your device, email, PIN and authentication links secure. Check the members, amount and split before accepting an expense or settlement. House records may remain visible to authorized members after a house is archived.
Receipt and avatar tools
Receipt scanning suggests details for your review; it can misread an item or amount. AI avatar generation can produce unexpected results. You are responsible for checking a receipt before saving an expense and for choosing an appropriate profile image. Do not upload another person's private image without permission.
Biometric access
You may choose to protect access to Share with Face ID, Touch ID or another biometric method supported by your device. Your device performs the biometric check. Share does not receive or store your face, fingerprint or biometric template. You can turn this feature off in Profile or in your device settings.
Safety
Do not use house names, messages, receipts or profile content to threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate, scam or expose private information. Use the in-app report and block controls or contact support. We may restrict content or accounts to protect users and the service.
Deletion and shared history
You can request account deletion in the app. Account access stops when the request is accepted; deletion processing starts after the seven-day schedule. Shared financial facts may remain in anonymized form to preserve other members' records, and information may be retained where required for security, disputes or legal obligations.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep ShareY52 accurate and available, but the service may be interrupted and calculations or automated suggestions may contain errors. Check important records before relying on them. To the extent allowed by applicable law, YSHARE (PTY) LTD is not responsible for indirect losses or disputes between house members. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.
